Sour Power? The Bruery 5 Golden Rings

The Bruery 5 Golden Rings 11.5% ABV

Walking into a beer store this weekend I was amazed to see the biggest collection of Bruery beers I’ve ever seen in one place and to my surprise they had this year’s Christmas Ale offering, 5 Golden Rings. Without hesitation I picked up the beer and made a B line for the cashier. I was very excited to get this home and drink it mainly because of the reputation of the Bruery with beers such as Black Tuesday and Chocolate Rain how could they go wrong? Well I was about to find out.

5 Golden Rings might be the perfect beer for sour ale lovers but as I despise sour ales, this was not the beer for me. Its saving grace was the great mouthfeel and the 11.5 abv that had me slurring my speech after the 2nd glass. Check out the video above and tell me what you think of this Christmas Ale offering from The Bruery.
