Heil Bier! Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier (video)

Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier 5.4% ABV

I want to go on describing this beer, how it tastes and how it stacks up in comparison to other wheat beers out there but really I don’t need to do that. This beer is hands down the best no frills (adding additional flavors) wheat beer on the market and there isn’t another wheat beer that even comes close. I mean you have popular wheat beers like Blue Moon and Sierra Nevada Kellerweis(which is also great) but they really can’t do what z German’s have been doing for centuries.

All I can say is that if you like wheat beers, like Blue Moon, pick up a six pack of Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier and prepare to change your skivvies.

Additional info: Wheat beers go by different names depending on region/country but are all wheat beers.

Weißbier
Weizenbier
Hefeweissbier or Hefeweizen
Kristallweissbier or Kristallweizen
Dunkles Weissbier or Dunkles Weizen
Weizenbock
Witbier or simply Wit
La bière blanche

Only real difference between any of them is where they are made and their color/clarity. But one person’s y’all is another’s youz guys and in the end they both mean the same thing :)

The Keg Tap Rating: A+

PS: pardon the tilted camera, I didn’t realize it was tilted until after I was finished and I was too lazy to reshoot :/

About Irving

I'm just a guy who has a passion for good beer. Over the past few years I've been making it a point to introduce my friends to good quality beer and now, all of you. There's a world beyond cold activated cans, clydesdales, green bottles and Mexican clear bottled beer, you just need to tap that keg. Stay thirsty but stay different.
